Sri Lanka Exempts Vaccinated Arrivals from Mandatory Quarantine

From 19 March 2021, Sri Lanka's Health Ministry announced a major shift in its entry rules for vaccinated travellers. Those who had completed both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are now exempt from the mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival. While travellers still need to stay in a designated hotel pending PCR test results, this change significantly reduces the disruption to travel plans.
