Bali trials quarantine-free entry for vaccinated travellers starting March 7

Indonesian President Joko Widodo approved a trial quarantine-free policy for fully vaccinated overseas travellers to Bali beginning March 7, 2022. Under the new scheme, vaccinated arrivals need only a negative PCR test on arrival—no quarantine required. Additionally, visa-on-arrival access was restored for nationals of 23 countries, making Bali even more accessible to international visitors.

This trial represents a major step toward fully reopening Bali to normal travel patterns. For Sri Lankan tourists, it means even easier access to Bali's beaches, temples, and culture.
